Rain Delay

A long stretch of heat and drought finally came to an end last week.  Tonight, a seven day long rain event wraps up.  Can’t we just get some balance?!?  We went nearly three weeks receiving only a quarter inch of rain.  In the last week we have recieved just under two and half inches!  This will serve as a reset button for roughs, tees and fairways that were starting to brown from drought.

Naturally it rained during member guest.  This was taken during the delay on Friday.  My boys whipped the course back into shape for a great finish on Saturday.

Monday, we went to work on our putting greens.  Vented, mowed and threw out a heavy dose of sand before the outing went off.
