Clubhouse Irrigation

Spring rains are in full effect and cold temperatures are hanging on.  The golf course is almost a full month behind last year when considering turf and ornamental growth and flowering.  This has resulted in nothing exciting going on around the golf course.  But with us taking on the massive task of clubhouse irrigation and landscaping the slow warm up is a blessing in disguise for our always busy department.

We are currently staying right behind the concrete curb crew.  As they knock out curbs we step in and install our irrigation lines in parking lot islands and parking lot perimeter.  We have already put in about 300 man hours and are only a quarter of the way complete with the irrigation project that will supply water to our landscape areas in both front and back of the clubhouse!  Just think how stressful this would be if the weather was nice and we would be forced between the golf course and clubhouse.

Weeks ago we ran irrigation lines through pvc sleeves to get irrigation underneath the parking lot.  They were then marked so we can find them as we finish irrigation sections.
