Staying Busy

As weather continues bouncing around we continue to change gears.  The golf course has dried out since last week allowing us to continue leaf cleanup.  Bunkers were put back together last week and greens were mowed as well.

The beginning of this week has been frigid so we have gone back to “winter work”.  Clearing of brush and blowing leaves was started on the practice facility around the netting.  As we moved along, hundreds of golf balls were picked and reunited with the range ball supply!  Chipping of brush and limbs were tackled to free up space at our dump area near our shop.  Leaves were blown away from the fence line and vacuumed along hole #15.  Lastly, the leaves were consolidated into one large pile near our pump house where we have been dumping our fall leaf collection.  This pile will decompose over the season so we can mix it in with compost, soil and/or mulch!
