Sand Finale

Today we completed the final step on our putting greens.  Tuesday was wetting agent, venting and mowing followed by vertical mowing, backpack blowing and mowing on Wednesday! Finally today we mowed again and spread a moderate sand topdressing across the putting greens!  This sand will work into the grooves from vertical mowing, leaving the putting surfaces in premium condition.  All this was planned and timed due to the expected cooler temperatures and rain in the next few days.  Greens will be in real good shape next week leading up to the Club Championship!
