Locked and Loaded

When the club championship wraps up on Sunday all focus will be geared towards the bunker renovation!  We are locked and loaded on our first target.  The start of this bunker project will take aim on hole #7.  We will start with the fairway bunker and proceed to the two green side bunkers.

On Monday before the scheduled golf tournament we will be exposing the current drainage outlets of the bunkers on #7.  We need to do this to determine whether we can reuse the drainage for the new bunkers.  Tuesday we will begin excavating the old bunker sand.

During this entire bunker renovation we could have up to 3 holes closed at any one time.  Holes would only be closed Tuesday thru Friday while we are working.  All other days all holes will be open with work areas marked as ground under repair.  The hole closures allows us to be as efficient as possible.  There are possibilities of having temporary greens in a fairway or two to avoid a full closure of a hole.
