Bonkers Over Bunkers

Over the last week we have really put some effort into restoring the look and playability of our bunkers.  The older bunkers were in need of an aggressive edging to define the bunker from surrounding turf.  A handful of bunkers received a major face lift!

The most improved bunker was this massive church pew bunker on hole #9.  It was in rough shape and took a medium sized crew one full day to whip back into shape!

The three smaller bunkers on hole #11 and one small bunker on #12 were heavily modified as well.  They were reshaped and all existing sand(dirt) was removed.   We stole contaminated sand from #10 fairway bunker to fill the 3 bunkers on #11.  Always making improvements at BHCC!

Off subject, some cart paths were overlayed last Monday.  #6 tee area is a huge improvement!
