Sod And Sand

Last Friday we took a gamble that payed off big!  After my last post, we were all tired and worried about the forecasted rain Thursday night.  We worked really hard to give us a chance to lay sod on Friday.  Friday morning we arrived to a wet golf course, but... not too wet!  We lucked out and was able to have Midwest Turf lay sod for us while we finished up bunker liner and hauling sand.  All of this was ultimately planned to beat out the rain forecasted this week.  We successfully did so, as we received almost an inch of rain today which would had wiped us out for the entire week.  Much of what we do is  all about timing!

At this point we only have enough sand in the bunkers to protect them from the rain.  We will add more sand in the weeks to come.  We are very happy with the results of the renovation!
