Over a year ago the city started on the stabilization of Cole creek. Unfortunately the first task they completed was knocking out all the trees behind number eight green. This dramatically changed the background of the hole. After two golf seasons the contractors are complete with the shaping and plantings allowing us to start our work. Today we finally planted 19 trees in efforts to restore our tree-lined landscape once behind the green!
We are considering this phase 1 with additional trees and shrubs needed to complete our desired look. It is very important to understand that we are planting on a 5 to 10 year growth plan. Plants are spaced based on screening in five years mostly filled and in 10 years completely filled. The process will take some time but we are excited about the future!
