Different Direction

Yesterday we started prep work for cart path improvements.  The laying of new asphalt is scheduled for next Monday the 26th.  The key areas being done is up around the practice green and hole #7.

A new route on hole #7 will move the path farther away from the green.  This will prevent its interference with golf balls.  It is also going to be connected in the direction for easier flow towards hole #8.

The existing path near the green on 7 will be removed at a later date and replaced with turf.

The cart barn and practice green area will gain more width for better flow and parking.

It has also been decided to fill in the practice green bunker due to its lack of use and proximity to the green.  A new practice bunker may possibly be installed on the practice facility or at the golf course maintenances nursery green near #9 tee complex.
