Long Overdue

It’s been a long time since the last blog and there is a lot going on so need to catch up.  This one will simply be the tree edition!  After the realization that the bunker project was going to be put on hold till better weather we started chipping away at our tree removal list.  We also cleared out an overgrown corner near # 9 blue/black tee.

#7 green. The landmark tree was taken down due to concerns of its health.  Clearly the correct call after taking a look at the rotting inside.

Two large sweetgum trees were removed from behind #14 green to allow morning sunlight to the green.  The morning sunlight is the most beneficial to the plants health of any other time of the day!
