Turf Time

After a golf trip networking with colleagues in the golf industry, Steve and I are back!  The guys have been hard at work during that time and today we started laying sod on hole #7.  

During the ongoing project we have to make sure we don’t order too much sod for each phase.  If we over order we will have to handle the extra sod twice to store it while prepping the next area.  For this reason #7 won’t be 100% complete until we order sod for hole #11.

Also, it is really important to avoid walking on the new sod till it roots-in.  Failing to avoid doing so can result in possible injuries from slipping and damaged turf as well.
