The area around the practice green is prepped and ready for sod. After multiple loads of dirt, we were able to shape the surround up nicely! One sprinkler head was raised and leveled and dirt was backfilled even with the curb for a clean finish. 125 yds of sod will cap off this area Thursday. I am really looking forward to seeing the completed product.
Tuesday we aerated our zoysia collars. We took a small core out and washed the plugs away. This process will help with the compaction developed during the golf season. It will also allow us to get water to infiltrate the surface that has become sealed off due to traffic.
