Balancing Act

With The club championship and the senior amateur championship behind us it's time to start switching gears.  We will be slowing down on typical golf course maintenance to allow time to start project work.  Tasks like string trimming, bunker raking and leaf blowing will be stretched out a bit to free up labor hours.  We have many projects small and big planned to improve the course for years to come.

Today we wrapped up the final phase of #11 fairway.  The existing sharp edged fairway line was contoured for a more natural look.  This was completed using sod stripped from the practice range.

We also aerated our nursery green today.  This process will be completed on the rest of the course starting this Sunday afternoon.
