Recent rain events has the golf course saturated. 2.25 inches fell in less than 5 days. These conditions will serve as a reset button for roughs that where starting to feel the heat and drought from a week ago.
Unfortunately, with an inch of rain early this morning we were unable to mow greens due to standing water.
Changing hole locations were difficult too. Plugs didn't want to remove themselves from their soggy profile.
The timing of these rains and the upcoming schedule of golf events will have us struggling to catch up with mowing of roughs, fairways and tees. Thanks for your patience.
